Each staff member at Ada Hospital for Animals is dedicated to providing the best care possible for your pet.

 

Dr. Trish VanDenBrink
Dr. VanDenBrink spent seven fun-filled years at Michigan State University, getting her Bachelor of Veterinary Science Degree in 1983 and then her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 1987. Dr. Trish's special interests include dermatology and internal medicine. Dr. Trish tries to be an avid weekend athlete and loves to ride bike as often as possible. Dr. VanDenBrink lives in Grand Rapids with a fur family that consists of a miniature Dachshund, two Labradors and three cats.   

Dr. Natalie Neher
Dr. Neher received her undergraduate degree with honors at the University of British Columbia in beautiful Vancouver, BC.  She obtained her veterinary degree in sunny Western Australia, at Murdoch University in 2008.  Dr. Neher enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and also enjoys traveling, kayaking, jogging, skiing, ballroom dancing and spending time with family.  Dr. Neher lives with her husband, a Shar-Pei cross named Jack, a siamese named Simone, a crested gecko named Meemic and a tank full of fish.

Marlo, Office Manager
Marlo has worked at Ada Hospital for Animals since it opened in 2006 and has worked with Dr. VanDenBrink for three years prior.  Marlo is responsible for maintaining the daily operations of the clinic and has a special talent for getting overweight Dachshunds fit and slim again.  Marlo and her husband share their home with two formerly fat Dachshunds, Tobi and Missy.

Marianne, Accounts Manager
Marianne started with Ada Hospital for Animals when it opened in 2006 and previously worked with Veterinary House Calls of Grand Rapids. Marianne is responsible for the financial and accounting aspects of the clinic. Marianne lives with her husband, daughter, two dogs Ben and Natalie and four cats Dancer, Rusty, Trouble and Popoki.

Sheri, Lead Assistant/Safety Officer/Inv. Manager
Sheri started at Ada Hospital for Animals when it opened in 2006 and has worked with Dr. VanDenBrink seventeen years prior to the opening of Ada Hospital for Animals.  Sheri is a Certified Veterinary Assistant and has a special interest for dental care, cat behavior and client education.  Sheri is also the clinic's OSHA officer and keeps everything organized and safe.  Outside of work Sheri loves to read and is involved with her church. Sheri lives in Lowell with her husband, teenage daughter, three dogs and six cats.

Kirstin, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Kirstin graduated from the Baker College Veterinary Technician program in 2008 and started at Ada Hospital in 2009.  Kirstin loves every aspect of her job, but has a special interest in behavior and training and enjoys competing in obedience and agility with her Pit Bulls.  Kirstin's Ada home is full of animals with her two dogs: Alia and Lije, six cats and a lot of pet rats.

Tracy, Veterinary Assistant
Tracy started at Ada Hospital for Animals in the spring of 2010 and she is currently attending Penn Foster College in the Veterinary Technician Program.  Tracy has worked in the veterinary field since 2008 and she enjoys everything about her job, from the animals to the wonderful clients.  Tracy lives in Grand Rapids with her husband, two sons, a daughter and her dogs, Nestle, Eve and Annie. 

Jenni, Receptionist
Jenni started working with Dr. Gira in 1992 at Veterinary Housecalls and then here at Ada Hospital when the practice opened.  Jenni has a love for people and is very understanding and kind when helping answer client questions or concerns. Jenni and her husband live with a Boston Terrier, two cats and just had their first baby boy.

Marcia, Receptionist
Marcia has worked in the veterinary field for several years and started at Ada Hospital in 2009.  She is very involved in cat rescue and enjoys learning new things about Veterinary Medicine.  Marcia is cheery, friendly and always has a smile on her face.  Marcia has a full family with her husband, four daughters, three cats and three dogs.
